Celebrate Friday the Thirteenth in the Penn Museum’s breathtaking Chinese Rotunda with the Daedalus Quartet, Penn’s internationally renowned string quartet in residence. Experience the demonic brilliance and visionary beauty of George Crumb’s "Black Angels: Thirteen Images of the Dark Land for Electric String Quartet" as string sounds, whispering, chanting, eerie glass harmonicas, and gongs resonate under the 90 foot dome of the Museum’s Rotunda. Join in the creation of Scott Ordway’s crowd-interactive archaeological soundscape "Tonight We Tell the Secrets of the World", commissioned by the Penn Museum. Open your ears to the evening with a new work by Joshua Hey.
