This panel discussion, moderated by Penn Museum Williams Director Julian Siggers, presents a wide-ranging look at past, current, and future threats to the world’s cultural heritage. Panelists include Brian Daniels, Director Research and Programs at the Penn Cultural Heritage Center, art historian Maxwell Anderson, former Director of the Dallas Art Museum; Salam Al Kuntar, Research Fellow, Penn Museum, and Co-Director, Tell Hamoukar Project, Syria; and Derek Gillman, Professor, Westphal College of Media Arts, Drexel University. Dr. Anderson signs copies of his newest book, "Antiquities: What Everyone Needs to Know" (on sale in the Museum Shop), following the discussion. A reception concludes the evening.
