Celebrate the great cultural contributions of Jamaicans on the island and here in Philadelphia, at this Caribbean Heritage Month and Immigrant Heritage Month event! Come out and enjoy reggae and other steel pan band music, learn some Caribbean dance moves, and experience the island arts, culture, stories, and the foods of Jamaica at this World Culture Day, co-sponsored by the Young Caribbean Professional Network, Team Jamaica Bickle – Philadelphia, and Jamaica Land We Love. While you’re here, explore the Museum’s special exhibition Bearing Witness: Four Days in West Kingston, with curator Deborah Thomas. Full details online.
