P.M. @ Penn Museum: Four Prophet String Band

Wednesday 29 June 2016

Four Prophet

Enjoy the timeless appeal of American folk music as a living tradition during this concert. While members of this band have been playing in Philadelphia-based bluegrass, old-time, and jazz bands for several years, they've recently come together to share their love of three- and four-part harmony and the exhilarating rhythms of traditional Southern fiddle styles. The band plays both familiar standards and hidden gems.

This performance is part of the P.M. @ Penn Museum Summer Nights concert series, where each week brings a new musical experience to the Museum’s outdoor garden courtyard. Concerts are presented every Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, and move indoors during inclement weather.

Admission is $10, $5 PennCard holders, Penn Medicine / CHOP employees with ID
