Description | Lion. traces of green patina and in the crevices, some deposits of a limey substance. Solid cast lion is loacking the right front and rear paws. Front paw was restored in plaster. Animal stands on short stocky legs. Front legs are bent back at knees as if the lion were leaning on another object. Its body is tubular. Head is large with lumpy eyebrows. Tail runs between legs and curls up over body. Lion's mane sticks up sharply over top of head. |
