Description | Cotton skirt, warp faced weave. Random width weft striped in indigo and white with indigo and yellow jaspe separated by solid magenta, deep red, orange, yellow, green, and blue stripes on magenta warp. Jaspe motifs: bush-vase, lyre, tree, and varied geometric. Woven elsewhere. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 24 epi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Weft: 60 ppi, single, two ply cotton. Weft prominantly plain weave. Woven on a foot loom." |
