Description

Wolf head. Boards nailed to struts. Upper front piece has small head with painted human face rising above nose. Movpable lower jaw, hinged with leather; teeth formed by strips of wood nailed within upper jaw. Head frame of bound strip of wood between bottom struts. Eyes oval, dark blue out-lines, red irises, dark blue pupils. Nose up-turned. A small wolf, of one board 47cm. long, fastened within top of mask and moves by a cord. Red and dark blue designs; traces of green.
