Description | Wheelmade. One handle missing, a few chips. Low thin ring base. Walls flare out to GD at handle zone then curve in low to where sharpened rim flares out from body. On interior, carination at juncture of rim and body. Two fine rolled horizontal loop handles just below rim. Two zones of fine wheel run incisions on exterior wall. Fine clay, fine fabric. Good bucchero. Polished. Streaky firing, dark gray to black. Graffito on exterior wall; upside down. |
