Description

Small kerchief. Red cotton plain weave cloth. Multicolored [red, blue, yellow, pink, black] stripes grouped along length. Double faced brocaded Greek key design along width end in white cotton. The word "Recuerdo" appears in white silk brocading. Other design elements: stylized animals and geometrics.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 66 epi, 2 singles, 2 ply cotton. Weft: 34 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp plain weave. Supplemental weft - double faced. 1 panel - 4 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom."
