Description | Vermeule: Chalcedony-Onyx. Cameo. (Modern gilt ring setting) Bust of a Greek warrior to right, wearing a crested Corinthian helmet on which appears a serpent. Perhaps Philoctetes is intended. Neo-Classic, probably earlier 19th century. |
