Description | CBS Register: fragment of a mortuary stone in marble with bust of male youth. Romano: "Small imago clipeata with the bust of a bearded (?) male in low relief in a disk with a tongue pattern around the edges. The figure wears a tunic and mantle over the left shoulder. The hair and facial features are summarily treated. Large ears lying perpendicular to the background. Recessed at the top of the fragment are folds of a drapery or floral background." |
