Description | Complete. Mended. Glaze chipping. Base flares to resemble disc, conical hollow underneath. Short stem. Wide shallow bowl. Flattened rim, extending over both interior and exterior wall; on top, 2 grooves forming central ridge; 4 nearly trapezoidal projections form lifting handles. Brown and purple painted dec. in bands, wheel applied. Medium fabric, fine clay, with black bits and fine mica. Polished. Fired light buff. |
