Made of split cane or reeds bound with red and black string between two carved pieces of wood which extend far enough to make a short handle. Below the hafting the teeth are held by red string intertwined to make a design of two rows of diamonds with small diamond centers separated at top, middle, and bottom by a continuous row of triangles.
