Description

Wooden. In shape of a crocodile's head, with raffia fiber "ruff". Covered with mixture of mud and (?). Open mouth with inset "teeth" and stick for tongue. Circular mirrors for eyes and ears. Back of head covered with skin, hair gone. Two wooden bands across top of head have remnants of blue cloth attached, third band missing. Mounted on a coil-work basketry collar with braided chin strap.
