Description | Lid of Attic amphora. Underside unglazed. Top: red-figure line in band of glaze 1.5 cm wide around base of knob. Ivy leaf pattern in black in reserved band 1.5 cm wide around lip. Area between bands glazed, with 4 wheel-painted bands of purple. Knob and parts of all other elements missing, partly restored in plaster. Bits of bronze adhere to top of rim. |
