Description
Man's cotton. Red ground with thin navy stripes. Two panels embroidered together. Center brocaded in geometric design. Red tassels on four corners attached with orange thread.
As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 36 epi, two singles, Z twist, red and navy cotton. Weft: 22 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Balanced plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Two panels, three selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom."
