Description | four are clear but bubbly green glass covered with pearly blue iridescence, and have a distinct lining shell of some yellow substance which tends to stick out at the ends. the other two, black and smutty, were thought to be carbonized remains of wood, but show coppery iridescence and may be of the dark glass paste decorating some of the varigated alabastra. |
