Description | Broad foot. Profile of foot in two equal parts separated by a slight ridge; lower part glazed, upper part painted pink (over glaze?). Body shallow, convex in profile. Ring handle attached at angle on shoulder. Spout also set on shoulder at angle; its lip overhanging. Relief mask of Medusa(?) in center of top, aligned on spout. Buff clay. Dull black glaze over all except underside of foot. Large cross in red on underside. Intact. |
