Description | Round lid. Wheelmade. A few chips, plastered at rim (resting surface). Slightly sharpened rim, plain short walls. Top slightly convex. Central round applied handle;flat disc base with hollow flaring extension. Fine clay, fairly fine fabric. Fairly good bucchero, streaked by hand burnishing. Fired brown to black at surface, dark gray at core. |
