Description | Carved, drinking cup, pattern , Mutu Chembe. Border design, ikunji, the eye; the rest is mutu chembe, head of god, in pairs. See the tobacco pipe bearing the latter device. This is the high god, Jambi or Chemb, with whom the insect represented is associated, especially with regard to procreation. . |
