Description
Large rim sherd from a deep pot (深鉢). Rim curves up to pointed projection. Incised markings on interior side of projection. Hole below projection and knobs above and below hole. Exterior with bands of decoration including cord marked and burnished zones separated by incised lines. Interior is smooth. Jomon style. Dark surface.
