Description | Point. Obsidian flaked stone tool. Triangular point with long stem which is broken off or flattened at end. Translucent. 29-183-18 is one of many stemmed points in the collection. Stemmed points or arrowheads appear in sites from the Late Paleolithic to Yayoi Period. Without context arrowheads such as these can only be assigned a broad date range. |
