Description

Sommerville: Antique paste cameo, pale green on red. A Bacchante. Antique Pastes, Case YYY.

Vermeule: Paste, pale green on red. Cameo. (Unmounted) A Maenad reveling to left. She holds her cloak behind her and it cascades down her back. Graeco-Roman, imitating a late Hellenistic composition.
