Description | Huipil of white cotton. Two pieces, not made up. Upper part is black cotton weft with widely spaced stripes of cerise rayon. Weft edges with white. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 17 epi, two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: Heading 48 ppi, two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft face is plain weave throughout, denser weave in navy and cerise areas. Two panels, two selvedges each." |
