Description

CBS Register: seal cylinder, lyonite PBS XIV: The worshiping of Shamash by a bearded worshiper as above. There is a crescent above. A figure like Martu with turban, long beard and short tunic, holds a curved scimitar over a crooked Martu stick. "Ninshubur//pure heavenly messenger//who wields the brilliant scepter". Concave cyl. seal. Red and black syenite, 27 1/2 x 15 mm.
