Description

Bronze figure of seated Jizo. Gilded head and hands. Nimbus with Sanskrit characters. In his left hand is a priest's sceptre (shakujo) with pendant rings; in his right hand is a jewel like a pomegranate. See 29-96-304 (pedestal) of panti-colored bronze.
