Description | Vermeule: Sardonyx. Cameo. (Modern gold belt?) setting broken into 3 pieces and reset. Head of Medusa facing: high relief. 19th century imitation of an ancient cameo. A marble relief such as the Medusa Rondanini or marble enrichments of an imperial cuirassed statue. |
