Gauze Technique. Red cotton: five narrow yellow-blue-yellow weft stripes; red warps. Red band woven in gauze technique. Short fringe.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 18 epi, two singles, red cotton, Z twist. Weft: 10 ppi, singles, multistrand. Balanced plain weave and gauze weave. Woven on a backstrap loom."
