Description

1960's, cotton, three panels sewn together, bottom half plain woven in red and white stripes with thin blue and orang stripe accents, upper half brocaded: weft float on red warp face, designs geometric bands in lavender, magenta, royal blue, orange and green, zig zag bands in like colors, individual stylizes human figures in orange, lavender, royal blue, and green, appliqued white neck band with red and blue rick rack and red white and blue rosettes sewn on.

As per Sigird Meier, "Warp: 68 epi, 2 ply, Z twist, white, red, blue and orange cotton. Weft: 28 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, white cotton. Warp faced - plain weave. Supplemental Weft - single faced. 3 panels - central panel: 2 selvedges, 1 side panel: 3 selvedges, 1 side panel: 2 selvedges."
