Description | 4 human heads attached perpendicularly to rim. Bucchero, thrown and tooled. Hemispherical with wide everted rim, two high round loop handles. Four human heads attached perpendicularly to rim, one facing out from each handle-base. Fabric: sandy brown to gray core with flecks of mica (?). Slipped, low gloss. Body cracked; slip peeling; deposits on surface. Technique: thrown. Heads molded and incised. Burnished. |
