Description | Shape similar to MS4118. Coarse textured, red (10R 4-5/6) clay, with the surface varying somewhat in color, with light and dark inclusions. Painted, except on bottom, with a slip of the same color. Not burnished. Wheelmade. Restored from fragments; many sherds missing. Marks of burning on exterior. For comments see MS4118. |
