Description

Thick hide shield (A) with four buckskin straps on the back. Inner buckskin shield cover (B) is dyed yellow with a central red dot outlined in blue with rays radiating above and below. Two diagonal hash marks on either side of the upper half are red and blue. Blue dots surround the central red circle and are also in a line from the middle to the top of the shield cover. Red felt is attached around top and sides with feathers attached. Outer buckskin shield cover (C) with two dragonflies around concentric circles in the center with rays radiating down in blue, red and green pigment. A short metal chain is attached at the center. Twisted buckskin ties are attached at the top of the shield. Both shield covers are secured with buckskin drawstrings.
