Description
Lekythos. Foot, except for top surface, reserved. Lower wall also fully glazed. Rest of wall covered with white ground. Left to right: wool basket; woman seated on a klismos in profile facing right, arms extended in front of her, one above the other, as if spinning; Doric column. Border above: meander and cross. Shoulder, on clay ground: palmettes. Neck, lip, and outer surface of handle glazed. Parts of white ground area of wall and of shoulder are repainted.
