Description

Carved hard balck wood. Each vertical section is ornamented with scrolls and grotesque figures in low relief with, on the inner side, a vertical panel, each of four bird-headed human figures in the round. The central figure in the lintel is a grotest human figure with on each side of it scrolls and grotesgque human and animal figures. Compare the fragment of a lintel P 3222.
