Description | Cotton plain weave red and blue plaid. Selvedges have green and purple stripes. Design motifs of several species of birds and geometric forms in shades of purple, white, yellow, brown and green. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 36 epi, three singles, Z twist, red and blue cotton. Weft: 25 ppi, three singles, Z twist, red and blue cotton. Balanced plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. One panel, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
