Description | Framed scene of a dancer in the forest, with drummer and spectators. Double-face tapestry, hand-made by local craftsmen in workshops of "Fine Arts and Handcraft" Bought by Reginald de Warren, Counselor of French Embassy in Washington, D.C. at the end of the International African Exhibition of Balawayo in 1953, where it had been exhibited in the Pavillion of Madagascar, Reunion and French Equatorial Africa. |
