Description | CBS Register: broken diorite bowl decorated with stars and crescents. Inlaid and 4 kneeling bulls-- Bull of Heaven inscription of [Dungi?] UE IV: Bowl, fragment of black steatite. The outside was surrounded by a row of reclining bulls carved in low relief but with heads projecting virtually in the round. One bull and the hind-quarters of a second remain. The body of the animal and the field are inlaid with trefoils, dots the sun and the moon in white shell; below are the ends of 6 lines of inscriptions which are undecipherable. Very fine work. |
