Description | Used for wrapping tortillas, two pieces sewn together, white with woven green and yellow striped border, rows of embroidered birds ans stylized floral units, red yellow green and orchid cotton, faded. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 38 epi, 2 ply, white cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, 2 ply, white cotton. Warp plain weave. Supplemental weft - double faced. 2 panels - 4 selvedges each. Made on a backstrap loom." |
