Description

Plaid sarong (tembe paleka). Coarse cotton (kafa galia). Blue and black from local indigo, orange commerical dye. Woven using warp comb (cau) and outdoor loom. Hand sewn. Made in 1983, Jango hamlet. Black, with white, orange, light blue balanced plaid. Orange panel with narrow blue vertical stripes. Orange border stripes.
