Description

Sommerville: Onyx. Pertinax, nineteenth Emperor of Rome. Greek and Roman Cameos, Case O. Vermeule: Onyx. Cameo. (Unmounted). Laureated draped bust of the emperor Pertinax (A.D. 193) copied either from coins or from well-known bust in the British Museum (Cat., 1915).
