Description

Sommerville: Antique Paste Intaglio, color pale sard. Woman worshipping a bird. Vermeule: Intaglio. Glass paste, imitating pale sard. (Unmounted) Woman seated to right, facing a small Ionic column on which a bird is perched. Probably made for ritual purposes. Italic.
