Made of a very dark brown carved wood, carved figure of a man used as a handle. Man is in a sitting position so that his chest is at right angles to his lap, making a space for one's thumb to grasp the handle of the spoon. Small tag in Speck's handwriting attached to the leg of the carved figure.
