Description | Smoothly rounded straight; light yellowish wood; sharp point; shallow groove in shaft for 10cm. behind oint, "split" near tail of arrow running back as far as a hole, which may mark where a small twig was removed; nock round-bottomed, 6.8 cm. deep; three grey-brown half arrows attached trailing edge 4cm from nock end as in -1464; diamond pattern incised on gum at nock end, with one broad spiral of narrow oblongs left not further divided; fine twined fibre wrapping and each end of gum. |
