Description | Prominent foot, with flat shoulder and sloping side profile. Rounded small molding painted purple between foot and wall. Thickened rim; broad reserved line just beneath it. On inner edge of rim a band painted purple. Purple circle around center of floor. Unglazed: edge of foot, resting surface, and center of undersdie. Restored from fragments. Parts of wall and rim missing and restored in plaster. Good black glaze. Very like MS5668. |
