Description | Sample of netting for string bag (men). Part of the top margin of a string bag, showing technique for the decorative style of 89-17-92 and techinque of starting the bag from the top. Bag is calle dmen when it is started from the top. The mesh gauges are strips of pandanus leaf, which are removed as work proceeds or when the netting is complete.
