Description

Round aryballos. Intact. Buff clay (and self-slip?). Reserved ground. Wheel-painted lines encircle bottom and lower wall: 1 line; interval; 2 lines; interval; 3 lines; interval; 3 lines. Wall: Siren with displayed wings and reverted head. Two horizontal branch-like elements below siren, a vertical one to its right and a long horizontal one to the left of its head and over wing (this element gives the appearance of a beak.) Shoulder: radiating tongue pattern within 2 wheel-painted lines. Edge of lip: 1 wheel-painted line. Top of lip: 9 closely spaced wheel-painted lines.
