Description | Cf. AF1365; and see AF2851. These are the bosses for basketry shields from the Northeast Congo 1 W. Fagg, Aug. 12581. Made of iron, conical piece protrudes from the center; two slight parallel rings encircle rim of object; four holes, two on top and two at the bottom; top two holes have a piece of flat iron through them, ends hanging underneath. Similiar to AF1365. Conical. Cf. 1365; and see 2851. " |
