Envelope with Japanese writing in black ink. The word "Nichereen" appears at the top most likely in reference to Nichiren Buddhism which places special importance on the Lotus Sutra. Ikegami Temple is written on the back in pencil. The envelope is associated with a print of a portrait of Nichiren Shoshu (29-96-703A-D).
