Description | Miniature jug with one high handle, round mouth, low maximum diameter, and pronounced base. Fine, reddish yellow (7.5 YR 7-8/6) clay, covered with dark brown to black paint. Undecorated. Intact except for part of handle; surface eroded. Compare Hawes et al. 1908: pl. 2, no. 22 (Gournia); Hutchinson, Eccles, and Benton 1939-40: pl. 14, no. 1 (Palaikastro). |
