Description

Adze. Plano convex stone blade, wood haft, rattan lashings. Resin with charcoal applied to blade and lashings. Plaited retaining ring over forepart of lashings. Blade traded in from west. No longer used. Hafted for collection by Dokyap Kowot, Meremjo clan, Dome village. Acquired from his son, Kerek Dokyap.
